One Day Trip from Marrakech to Essaouira Mogador
The day trip from Marrakech to Essaouira is a very interesting one, considering Essaouira itself is a very interesting coastal town.
We will begin this one day excursion at around 8 am by leaving Marrakech and going on a 3 hours long road trip to get to Essaouira city, which falls on the Atlantic coast.
We will enjoy a walk through the narrow streets of Essaouira’s Old Medina, which is a UNESCO world heritage site. Similarly, we will also enjoy a walk through the city ramparts along its golden beach. For lunch, we will try out of the many seafood dishes that the city specializes in.
Next, we will drive deep into Essaouira old Medina, exploring its small shops and artisanal crafts. We might visit one of the local women cooperatives that specialize in the production of Argan oil.
Finally, we will head back to the red city after a wonderful day of exploring the vibrant and charming city of Essaouira.
